How Article Submission Works and Tops Other SEO Techniques

A fact that most online merchants and webmasters may use to their advantage is the constant demand of readers for information through websites on various niches. This is why subscription services are almost always a hit that is if the website is well known and established with quality content. One of the ways to enhance the chances of boosting web popularity is through article submission.

This technique is well known because of its high success rate which is actually among the top as compared to other SEO techniques available. It may not be the latest but it is certainly useful for most internet marketers. To be able to experience the benefits of submitting articles, it first important to understand what makes article submission such a good process to opt for and what is the key behind its unique significance in the field of online marketing.

Article directories serve as large depositories for an even larger amount of information in the form of articles on the web. It basically works by being the main point where writers may submit articles and webmasters may use the articles that have been submitted to fill content on their site. To keep track of the owners of the articles, there will be a box that may be used for bio or any short scripts or text. It will always come with the article when distributed through the article directories and will be displayed along the article on whichever website.

There are many article submission and directory sites. Fortunately, there is also a huge population that wants daily fresh content and searches for it primarily through these sites. To be able to be picked out from the rest, readability is crucial. It must be able to stand out through hundreds of thousands of contents on the similar topic.

Most of the top article directories will be going through all of the submitted content manually or review it through a special software that checks for grammar, spelling and thought errors. Instead of viewing this as an obstacle, it can be seen as a great advantage. Only the best quality articles are accepted. Therefore, there will be less competition and the readers or visitors who will take articles from the directories will have greater chances of seeing the articles submitted by a particular writer. In addition to that, they will have more confidence in the contents thus providing a long term relationship.

Some internet marketers use free article directory for apparent advantages. However, there will be tough competition in this area. There is a great chance of being noticed in these sites if the articles are of utmost quality and contain the some of the best or authoritative back links. Double the work and effort is required with a free article directory but it saves a lot of monetary resources. Article submissions certainly have a great deal of advantage over other SEO techniques as not a lot of technical knowledge or background is required to be able to succeed. Additionally, it is low cost yet high results oriented.

Finding Your Marketing Comfort Zone

So, you’ve got something to say that you think others will find valuable. You’ve created an information based product and coaching services to enhance and optimize its value. And people are knocking down your doors to buy!
Unfortunately, while the first part may be true, without a lot of effort the second rarely is. The key to getting people to buy what you have to offer is marketing, and if you have been working on attracting people to your products and services already, you know there is no lack of vehicles available on the internet to do just that. But that’s part of the problem. There are so many ways available to let people know about what you have to offer it is difficult to know what the best one is. More to the point, there is little out there to help you discover which one is the best one for you.
Most successful internet based marketers that I know of have found their success through a hit-and-miss process that has cost them a lot of time and money. They are successful in large part because they learned from early failures and they did not let those failures dissuade them from continuing to pursue their vision. But depending on what source you read, the percentage rate of internet based businesses that fail is in the mid- to upper-90s. Clearly, many people are unsuccessful in their marketing efforts, due in large part, I believe, to the fact that they have not found their marketing ‘comfort zone’
Marketing is a complex business, but one thing I know is that it takes determination and perseverance. If you are not comfortable with the things you do to market yourself, your products, and your services, you are not going to stick with them through the inevitable failures and adjustments required to see the rewards of success. Awareness of your marketing comfort zone– what fits you and what you have to offer– is a critical component of marketing success. How you perceive the world– your Perceptual Style (PS) – has everything to do with what type of marketing will be most comfortable (and therefore most productive) for you. People do the things they are comfortable with and the things they enjoy, and when the going gets tough it is these things they return to. Integrate your marketing activities with who you are and you will discover your marketing comfort zone.
Understanding your marketing comfort zone will allow you to understand which marketing activities are best suited to you, which approaches take best advantage of your skills and talents, and what types of media present you and what you offer in the best light. In addition, when you market from your marketing comfort zone, you send a message that is consistent with who you are, and it is also integrated with your Perceptual Style. Such a message is received favorably by both clients and prospects. Discovering your marketing comfort zone requires some effort on your part to learn about and understand your PS and to study how the skills and talents it supports fit with different ways of promoting yourself in the internet marketplace. But the rewards are worth the effort.

When Will You Find The Time To Work At Your Online Business?

How many times have we all said, “If only I had more time then I could get a lot more done in my online home business?” or “If only there were more hours in a day”. The solution is not getting more time to do what we want - we all have the same amount. The key is to manage the time that we have and make it work more effectively for us.

Even if you think that you don’t have the time to take on anything else, you might be surprised to discover how much time you’re actually wasting during the day when you are not focusing on your work. You can start an online business whether you hold down a full time job or not, many of us do, myself included.

Sometimes when it comes to starting your own business, many people have the mental picture that it’s all or nothing – that in order to be their own boss, they have to take the plunge, quit their day job and put all of their effort into building a successful online business

Free Internet Tools and Resources the Steptoe (Sanford & Son) Way

Today I was just about to get into the shower when I heard a once familiar call and the clip clop of a horse. I couldn’t believe what I heard and had to look out of the window to check that I was hearing right. I saw a sight which I haven’t seen for many years – a scruffy man with horse and cart collecting other peoples junk from which he was planning to make money – a rag and bone man.

It reminded me of Steptoe and Son (Sanford and Son in the US) the popular sit com from the sixties and seventies, the rag and bone man even looked like Harold Steptoe from a distance. Harold and his father Albert ran a scrap yard and the rag and bone men went out on their rounds daily collecting junk, some free some paid for, the junk was recycled for profit proving the saying that one mans rubbish is another mans treasure.

I used to love watching Steptoe and Son and I’ll never forget the phrase “You dirty old man” said by Harold to his father in such a despising way. The humor probably wasn’t politically correct, but sometimes I think that PC has gone too far anyway.

Seeing the rag and bone man made me think about entrepreneurship and Internet marketing in a roundabout way. It made me realise that just as he collects free products for resale you can use free products and free tools and resources to help build your Internet business and there is no better time to start than now.

We keep hearing about the recession and how it has affected the lives of millions. When recessions hit many people lose their jobs and struggle to find other employment, but it is also a time when entrepreneurs rise from the ashes of high unemployment. Some create empires from real world businesses like my rag and bone man. Others get involved with business opportunities on and offline. Many don’t succeed but some do and it is because of those success stories that so many try.

New businesses need different levels of start up capital depending upon the type of business that is being launched. Real world businesses generally need more start up capital. For instance the rag and bone man would need a horse and cart and somewhere to store his ‘stock’. He would also need the know how to renovate or recycle his ‘stock’ and where to sell his goods.

An Internet business can be started with nothing except a computer, an ability to search and learn, a commitment to hard work and patience and little or no investment capital – but that could weaken your chance of success. However, there is no need to throw your life savings into Internet marketing because there are an awful lot of free products and free tools and resources waiting out there for you to make a start, learn or make money with providing that you realise that it takes time and that you have a lot of patience.

Once you have acquired enough knowledge and confidence in what you are doing then is the time to spend money, but with caution. Throwing money at programmes with claims of high earnings is generally a mistake. Those who make the high earnings are usually those who start the programmes up, but we are talking about tools and resources and it costs nothing to learn using them, a way of earning while learning.

I have a penchant for software, but the majority of what I have paid for I use on a regular basis and most of my purchases have come from profits. The only mistake that I’ve made was spending hundreds of pounds in 2007 on the Memberspeed software. It just didn’t work out for me for various reasons. I’ve still got access to it and may try again but I know that I can use WordPress and free plugins to build a membership site and probably more easily.

Following you will find a list of the types of low cost or free tools of resources available on the internet to help you to build your internet business:

Starting A Career In Journalism

There are many different types of journalism styles out there to choose from when starting a career in journalism. You may have already decided on a style that interests you but whether you are into Gonzo journalism or reporting news, most journalists start from ground zero and build themselves and their reputation up from there. No matter what style you chose in the end there are some important things to remember in order to get your work noticed.

There are certain traits a budding journalist will already need to have when embarking on a career in journalism. A good journalist must have; a keen interest in people, an inquisitive nature, ability to meet deadlines and outstanding communication skills. Basically, if you are not interested in what people have to say, their emotions and their achievements you simply can not function as a journalist.

Business and Creativity: It’s Not Just for Artists!

There are six distinct Perceptual Styles that characterize the ways the different people see the world. On the surface, some of these styles look more creative than others—but creativity is not a Perceptual Style quality, it’s a human quality.

Often, when we hear the word ‘creativity’ we think of artists and art in the broadest sense of the word—painting, sculpture, composing, writing, etc. But creativity is not limited to the artistic field, and entrepreneurs and other professionals do themselves a great disservice when they dismiss the notion that they have natural creative abilities.

One definition of creativity reads:

Basic Steps For Getting Traffic To Your New Website Or Blog

You researched keywords and built a new website or blog, did everything right as far as SEO is concerned - so where is the traffic?

I have a friend who builds wonderful websites for customers who expect masses of traffic and sales almost immediately and with no work on their part. When they complain my friend explains that website promotion wasn’t part of the service advertised, he gives them advice and guides explaining how to get traffic but still some of them demand their money back.

They don’t understand that to get traffic they need to work at it, or outsource their promotions. If those customers opened a real world shop amongst high street competition they wouldn’t just leave getting customers to chance they would spend time and money advertising the shop. Websites aren’t any different except it doesn’t cost anything to get customers/visitors on the Internet.

Getting traffic to your new website isn’t as simple as it may seem. We’ve established that traffic doesn’t automatically arrive so lets have a look at the different things that we can do and without paying a penny:
